The Golden State Warriors will face the Utah Jazz on Saturday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM PT in San Francisco and the game can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.
Previously with the Warriors:
The Warriors are coming off a 131–94 blowout loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night. It was the first game of a back-to-back, and Golden State opted to play it safe with its star trio of Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Draymond Green, all of whom were ruled out prior to the game due to rest and minor injuries.
Their absence was immensely felt against a Thunder team that advanced to an NBA-best 30-5 record. Oklahoma City had seven players score in double figures against the short-handed Warriors squad led by last season’s MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who scored 26 points, including 7-of-7 from the free-throw line.
What to watch for tonight:
Fortunately, Golden State gets a quick turnaround and a chance to move on from their recent loss with tonight’s matchup against the Jazz. The Warriors are expected to have Curry, Butler, and Green back in the lineup which should be a significant boost against a Utah team that is 12-21 on the season and currently riding a two game losing streak.
Enjoy the game Dub Nation. GO WARRIORS!!!
