Amid reports about slow ticket sales for WrestleMania 42, the main event of their mid-April residency in Las Vegas, WWE is taking one of the ancillary shows that has been a part of their ‘Mania week plans.
NXT’s Stand & Deliver premium live event has been part of the WrestleMania undercard (as it were) since its first edition back when the WWE Performance Center was briefly called the Capital Wrestling Center back in 2021. But NXT head honcho Shawn Michaels broke the news this morning that this year’s
Stand & Deliver — the sixth annual — will take place Sat., March 4 in St. Louis. While it hadn’t officially been announced, the assumption was NXT’s big show would take place in Vegas on Saturday afternoon like it has every year since its second edition.
That’s what we get for assuming*… Here’s Chef Shawn…
“I want to break some big news — On Sat., April 4, NXT will be bringing one of its biggest PLEs to one of the greatest wrestling cities in all the world. Stand & Deliver, Sat., April 4, will take place at The Factory in St. Louis, Missouri. Tickets will go on sale March 4, with a pre-sale on March 3. And trust me, this is a PLE you won’t want to miss.”
Chesterfield, Missouri’s The Factory will hold between 3,000-3,500 fans. We don’t know where they would have run Stand & Deliver 2026 in the Vegas area, but if they went with T-Mobile Arena like they did last year, it holds more than 10K in most configurations.
NXT’s done a lot to reshuffle its deck while losing most of the names its relied on for the past two year to the main roster. That included multiple title changes and a long-awaited heel turn last night (Feb. 24). It should create a relatively clean slate for Michaels and his team to paint a picture for Stand & Deliver that will pack the house in greater St. Louis the day after SmackDown runs there at the Enterprise Center.
