It’s never a bad time to Remember Some Guys. This morning, I was listening to a podcast that referenced the original “Let’s Remember Some Guys” post from Deadspin, published by Tom Ley in May 2015. That post, which was exclusively a list of 16 running back guys from around the NFL in the 2000s, had three former Green Bay Packers among them: Samkon Gado, Ryan Grant, and Najeh Davenport.
Those really were some guys to remember.
That got me thinking about other recent guys, especially in light of the NFL
roster cuts last week. The Packers seem to always have Guys, in part due to their penchant for keeping at least one undrafted free agent rookie on the week one roster every year.
So, while J. Michael Sturdivant will add his name to the Guys list this week, let’s do it again and Remember Some More Guys.
