Last night, Penn State added former Bruin Keanu Williams to its defensive tackle room, and today they add another big body in former Oklahoma State defensive tackle Armstrong Nnodim.
Nnodim is a rising redshirt sophomore who is originally from Mesquite, Texas, a suburb in the Dallas-Forth Worth metro area. He enrolled at Oklahoma State as a 250-pound edge prospect, but took a redshirt season where he added 40 pounds to his frame to reach 290 pounds. With his newfound bulk, Nnodim made the position switch to defensive tackle and jumped right into the rotation. He started four games down the stretch, and on the season, averaged 20.25 snaps per game, totaling 11 tackles, 2 TFLs, and 1 sack.
Nnodim appears to be a quality take as the staff rebuilds the defensive tackle room in 2026 and beyond. He is built — and this is the proper scientific term — like a brickhouse. I mean, Nnodim is absolutely yoked at 290 pounds.
