So Jim Harbaugh and Joe Hortiz have seemingly slammed the door on every trade call they’ve received in recent weeks. They have no intention of being sellers before the deadline and it’s all in the name of keeping positivity and optimism high in the locker room.
Here’s the thing: I don’t think one or two players being traded is the different between that locker room being happy or down in the dumps. They are the only remaining team in the league without a win. That locker room and their optimism about
this season couldn’t be any lower, but that’s just how Harbaugh works. At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if he was scared to ever let himself be anything else but positive in the public eye for fear of simply evaporating into thin air.
But I digress.
Welcome to another week of Chargers football. Here’s to hoping for anything positive out of today’s matchup.
