Will the Cleveland Browns have RB Quinshon Judkins available to make his debut in Week 2 against the Baltimore Ravens? We’ll see, but he is already missing the team’s first day of practice on Wednesday:
Judkins is scheduled to
have his first practice with the Browns on Thursday, meaning he’ll have two days to prepare for potentially playing this weekend. Hopefully he has been staying in some degree of shape during his time away from the club. As for why he was not at Wednesday’s practice, Scott Petrak of the Chronicle-Telegram says that Judkins is in New York meeting with the NFL today regarding his off-the-field incident earlier this offseason, as the league conducts their own investigation:
In the Browns’ season opener, Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson split the majority of the reps, although it was Sampson who was more involved in the offense, logging 8 receptions from Joe Flacco. Judkins, a second-round pick, is expected to be the team’s bell-cow back when ready, with Sampson being the backup.
