Germany cannot catch a break right now.
During Wednesday’s training session, Borussia Dortmund center-back Nico Schlotterbeck went down and required attention from doctors.
Sky Germany journalist Kerry Hau captured footage of the aftermath, showing Schlotterbeck on the ground in pain:
🇩🇪🚨 Concerns about Nico Schlotterbeck: The BVB pro had to cut short the final training session before the Serbia match! Schlotterbeck suddenly went down during the warm-up game. He is now being examined more closely by the doctors led by Dr. Jochen Hahne.

Schlotterbeck is one of the players selected by head coach Jürgen Klopp to play (or at least be available) across all four games during this international break. The sturdy defender has had some horrible luck with injuries in his career, including a ligament tear in his ankle during last summer’s World Cup.
At this stage, there is no report on the severity of Schlotterbeck’s injury.
