Steelers third-round running back Kaleb Johnson is a healthy scratch ahead of the team’s Week 16 matchup against the Detroit Lions, the team announced ahead of kickoff.
After not elevating any running backs
ahead of the game, Pittsburgh will have just two at the position for Sunday’s game.
Joining Johnson on Pittsburgh’s inactive list is the team’s 2024 third-round pick, Roman Wilson, who is also a healthy scratch for another game.
Nick Herbig, James Pierre, T.J. Watt, and Isaac Seumalo are all out as previously announced. Long snapper Christian Kuntz, who was questionable, has no injury designation and is set to play.
For the Lions, starting center Graham Glasgow is out in what could be a blow to Detroit’s top-ranked scoring offense.
