It’s Super Bowl week, but after that – all eyes turn to the upcoming NFL Draft in April with the NFL Combine just around the corner from February 23rd to March 2nd.
CBS Sports previously released their Top-150 NFL Draft prospects and Mizzou Football is well represented with five
players – with Josiah Trotter topping the list at No. 44.
Zion Young was ranked near the bottom at 110, but he made a statement in the Senior Bowl on Saturday as he was named Player of the Game for the American team.
Young is starting to rise in the latest NFL Mock Drafts – and is now projected to be a first-round pick per ESPN and other media outlets.
Young’s latest rise would give Mizzou Football the possibility of three-straight first round NFL Draft picks under head coach Eli Drinkwitz (Armond Membou in 2025 and Darius Robinson in 2024). That hasn’t happened for the Mizzou Football program since 2009-2011.
It wasn’t just Zion Young, but Kevin Coleman Jr. had a productive Senior Bowl week as well.
In our latest SBN Reacts, we ask you this: Which Mizzou Football player will be selected first in this year’s NFL Draft?
