Closing Thoughts
The Irish showed up in a solid way coming off of the BYU loss. It wasn’t the prettiest of wins but it doesn’t look like this is going to be a pretty college football season for any of the major programs. One of the biggest takeaways is that CJ Carr and the Irish offense settled back into something like the consistent form we got used two during the first half of the season. It wasn’t a flashy stats game for the defense but they overcame the annual Navy test, even if there were some notable injury losses.
The shelf life for these stats is probably going to be all of 12 hours before everyone’s attention is turned towards the Miami (FL) showdown next weekend.
