The Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks are all expected to compete for a postseason spot this year. Which team will be the best out of those three? A fair question. Depending on who you ask, you can likely make an argument for each team being the best.
Do I think the 49ers have a better offense than the Rams? I wouldn’t say that, but I do think it could be said. Mike Evans should be interesting and if the 49ers can stay healthy, they should be better off than they were last
year.
NFC West looks locked and loaded. And who knows? Maybe more moves to come.

Manti Te’o explains why 49ers, not Rams, have NFC West’s best offense (ramswire)
“Alongside their top stars, they are returning their entire starting offensive line, tight end room, and rushing corps. Despite their statistical prowess and on-field success, their operation is rivaled by their division foes from the north. Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers run one of the more complex and successful systems in the NFL, leading to a yearly showdown between the two sides to determine who has the better unit.
“Good Morning Football’s” Manti Te’o has shared his take, and despite the Rams’ undisputed success, he believes it’s San Francisco with the better unit after the 49ers made offseason additions of their own. Te’o spoke about the playmakers on the 49ers offense and how they naturally induce schematic issues for the defense as his line of reasoning for his take.“
Rams’ Alaric Jackson not facing felony after domestic violence arrest (clutchpoints)
““Charges are not filed against the respondent at this time, however, the case stays open throughout the length of the statute of limitations. It can be re-evaluated if there are further developments,” Pine said in a statement.
One of the bright spots of the Les Snead era, Jackson went from an undrafted free agent out of Iowa in 2021 to a starting left tackle on a consistently Super Bowl-contending team. Jackson has started the last 57 games he appeared in over the last three campaigns between the regular season and the playoffs, and is expected to do the same moving forward.“
Aaron Donald’s return to L.A. and 3 more NFL moves we’re expecting during training camp (fansided)
“”Aaron Donald told the team that he wanted go to the facility and workout … My guess is in the end he will be coming back to play for the Rams,” ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter told The Pat McAfee Show on Monday. “Obviously he’s thinking very hard about it and it has to be awfully enticing.”
Why Aaron Donald will unretire for the Los Angeles Rams
The enticing bit Schefter referred to is the offseason acquisition of defensive end Myles Garrett from the Cleveland Browns. Adding the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year and the newly minted single-season sack record holder was the final piece of an awfully impressive defensive puzzle. Bringing back Donald — if he’s still got it — plus the addition of cornerback Trent McDuffie from the Kansas City Chiefs makes the Rams impenetrable.“
