The “Queen of Violence” still reigns.
Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) invaded legendary Fenway Park — home of Major League Baseball’s Boston Red Sox — this past weekend (Sat., Aug. 29, 2026) for BKFC 92 in Boston, Massachusetts.
In the BKFC 92 co-main event, reigning women’s Flyweight champion and “Queen of Violence” Christine Ferea battered and knocked out “Queen of the Streets” Sofia Landi
.The opening round was competitive until Ferea began heating up and tagging Landi with heavy combinations
late in the frame.
Then came the violence.
Ferea dropped Landi early in the second round, but the Italian street-fighting sensation somehow climbed back to her feet. Ferea immediately swarmed, unloading another barrage that sent Landi crashing to the canvas for a second time.
Landi attempted to beat the count but stumbled backward, forcing the referee to wave off the fight just 33 seconds into the second round.

After successfully defending her “Queen of Violence” crown for the first time, Ferea turned her attention toward one of the greatest female fighters in combat sports history: Cris Cyborg.
“Cris, come out of retirement,” Ferea said. “I love you. You’re the f—king GOAT, but I want to face you. I’ve looked up to you my entire career. Let’s do it. Real fighting, bare knuckle — BKFC, baby. Let’s go, Cris.”
This isn’t the first time Ferea has called for the matchup. She previously challenged Cyborg following her victory over Bec Rawlings at BKFC 56 in Dec. 2023, with BKFC president Dave Feldman later revealing that Cyborg had expressed interest in competing for the promotion.
Whether Cyborg would return for a bare-knuckle fight this late in her legendary career remains to be seen, but a showdown with Ferea would undoubtedly be one of the biggest women’s fights BKFC could possibly make.
Ferea (12-1) has now won 10 consecutive bare-knuckle fights since suffering her lone BKFC loss to Helen Peralta in 2019. During that run, she captured the women’s Flyweight championship, successfully defended it five times and added the inaugural “Queen of Violence” crown to her collection.
At this point, Ferea has almost completely run out of challengers.
Perhaps it is finally time to call in Cyborg.
