Getafe head coach Jose Bordalás talked about how he would have enjoyed seeing Kylian Mbappé play against Getafe when they travel to the Bernabeu to play against Real Madrid on Monday.
Mbappé’s knee problems will force him to miss the next few games for Real Madrid, as the club hopes that the player will be fit for the tie against Manchester City.
Bordalás was asked about the Frenchman’s absence, to which he said: “I always want the best players on the pitch. I love this sport and my job, so I enjoy
watching great players.
“It’s a shame that players of Mbappé’s calibre can’t participate, as that would make the spectacle even better.”
Bordalás also talked about Alvaro Arbeloa and spoke about how bright the Spaniard’s future is.
He said: “Arbeloa has just arrived. He is a coach who takes little time, but I predict a great future without any doubt. I always wish the best for any colleague or partner. The responsibility at Real Madrid is very big, but I think he is doing well.”
