The best part of Victory Monday is celebrating that the Cleveland Browns still sit atop the AFC North and moved up, due to a bye, in the AFC playoff picture. The Week 7 win over the Tennessee Titans wasn’t pretty, but it continued to reveal some important things about the Browns as the huge Week 8 showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers looms.
With Cleveland fans so used to following the NFL draft order, a nice bonus on Victory Monday is tracking where the Los Angeles Rams ‘ first-round pick is currently
slotted. The Rams, beset with injuries, knocked off the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7, moving their record to 3-4.
While Monday Night Football is a matchup of two 2-4 teams, the strength-of-schedule tiebreaker likely means it will not impact where Los Angeles’ pick is by the end of Week 7.
The current 2027 NFL draft order going into Week 8 has the Rams picking 14th and the Browns selection still 26th:
- Los Angeles Chargers
- Tennessee Titans
- Miami Dolphins
- Washington Commanders
- Houston Texans
- Indianapolis Colts – Goes to the New York Jets
- Arizona Cardinals
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
- New York Jets
- New Orleans Saints
- Dallas Cowboys – Goes to the New York Jets
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Las Vegas Raiders
- Los Angeles Rams – Goes to the Cleveland Browns
- Atlanta Falcons
- Baltimore Ravens
- Seattle Seahawks
- New England Patriots
- Carolina Panthers
- Green Bay Packers – Goes to the Dallas Cowboys
- New York Giants
- Jacksonville Jaguars
- Cincinnati Bengals
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- Detroit Lions
- Cleveland Browns
- Denver Broncos
- Chicago Bears
- Buffalo Bills
- San Francisco 49ers
- Kansas City Chiefs
- Minnesota Vikings
How surprised are you that the Chargers are the lone winless team and the Vikings are the lone undefeated team? Do you think the Rams can find a way to make the playoffs, pushing the Browns extra pick further back?
