After Bayern Munich missed out on Anthony Gordon, they’re now looking for alternatives. Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven is being thrown around and he looks pretty good, but there’s another name in the mix: Matias Fernandez-Pardo from Lille:
Bayern and Liverpool have been watching Lille and Belgium forward/winger Matias Fernandez-Pardo (21) since last summer and are very interested in him. Borussia Dortmund are also showing strong interest. Lille are demanding up to €70m.

Fernandez-Pardo does look promising, as he apparently can play across the entire attack, but eight goals and seven assists in 41 games for the French side are stats that don’t command a €70 million price tag. If Bayern could manage to knock a few million euros off that asking price, maybe. Then again, the club obviously sees something in him that we don’t so let’s see where that goes.
