The Milwaukee Brewers traded outfielder Isaac Collins and right-handed reliever Nick Mears to the Kansas City Royals for left-handed reliever Angel Zerpa. The Brewers are open to stretching Zerpa out as a starter, which seems to make sense of a trade that seemed a bit confusing at first.
The Minnesota Twins signed Josh Bell today to a one-year deal for $7 million with a mutual option for a second year. We can look forward to him becoming a Guardians’ killer, now, I suppose.
