The Miami Dolphins hit the road for the third time in the first four weeks of the 2026 NFL season. This weekend, they head to Minneapolis to face the Minnesota Vikings. The Dolphins are hoping to come away with their first victory of the season and hand the Vikings their first loss of the year.
Miami has struggled in its first three games, though it looked more competitive against the Kansas City Chiefs last weekend than in its first games against the Las Vegas Raiders and San Francisco 49ers. For
a young team focused on development and gaining experience, it seems they have taken a step forward. Can they keep the momentum this weekend?
The Vikings have started the year with three wins, but they are not exactly setting the league on fire. Statistically, the Vikings offense is the worst in the league, averaging just 238.3 yards per game. The defense is keeping Minnesota in games, with former Dolphins head coach and current Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores blitzing opposing quarterbacks more than anyone else in the league. Miami has to be prepared for pressure throughout Sunday’s game.
