Welcome to the Top 10.
Red-hot 170-pound slugger Mike Malott blasted his way into the division Top 10 by destroying Joaquin Buckley atop the UFC Edmonton fight card last weekend in Canada. It was the fifth straight win for the “Proper” welterweight and his second straight knockout, pushing him three spots to No. 8 in the updated Meta Rankings.
Buckley, loser of three straight, fell four spots to No. 12.
Elsewhere on the charts, Jasmine Jasudavicius (women’s flyweight) and Chelsea Chandler (women’s bantamweight)
improved their respective positions following victories at UFC Edmonton. Jasudavicius upset top ranked Erin Blanchfield while Chandler submitted Melissa Croden in preliminary card action.
