At one point, I thought this game would play a role in both the Big 12 and College Football Playoff race; instead, it’s a nooner with most interested parties residing in Eastern Kansas. Despite the somewhat anticlimactic nature of the game, this marks the beginning of what I believe is a crucial stretch of games for Chris Klieman and the Kansas State football program moving forward.

This hasn’t been on my radar at all but the lede is certainly interesting. A couple guys that have played in the G League have been granted eligibility by the NCAA? What?
“I am going to get myself in trouble, but I listen to people talk about how kids changed. Kids aren’t the problem, we’re the problem,” Izzo told reporters Tuesday. “This was sprung on us again yesterday where a guy can be in the G League for two or three years and then all of a sudden, he’s eligible. Most of my people knew nothing about it. … I’m not real excited about the NCAA or whoever is making these decisions, without talking to us, just letting it go. They’re afraid they’re going to get sued.”
QOTD: Do you have a nerdy hobby or interest? Participating at RCT doesn’t count because that’s a given among all of us. The discussion of planes and routes from yesterday’s post is what got me thinking about this.
