The 2025 regular season has come to an end for the Braves. Yes, it was a season defined more by struggles than successes, and the Braves face one of their most important off-seasons in recent history over
the next 6 months. However, it is notable that the season ended on a good note. Atlanta was able to get a victory over the Pirates , highlighted by a win for Chris Sale and another home run for Ronald Acuna Jr.
But of course, the day belong to Charlie Morton. Morton started the game and then came out to a memorable ovation and likely career send-off in the top of the second inning. It was a classy gesture by the Braves for a first-class person who has meant quite a bit to many in Braves Country. While the season has been a disappointment, Sunday was a positive way to end it.
