Indiana men’s basketball is set to host Junior County, a 4-star shooting guard in the class of 2026, for an official visit this coming weekend, according to Alec Lasley/On3:
County is rated as a 4-star by the Rivals Industry Ranking and ranks in as the 6th highest-rated point guard and 35th highest-rated prospect overall nationally along with being the No.
1 player in the state of Utah. He plays at Wasatch Academy in Salt Lake City.
Indiana is extending a pretty wide net overall in the class of 2026, hinting at Darian DeVries’ building strategy with the program. The Hoosiers had to lean almost entirely on the transfer portal to build their roster for the 2025-26 season with plenty of those additions entering their final season of eligibility. A large high school class, which already includes a combo guard in Prince-Alexander Moody, would offset some of those concerns.
As for County, his other finalists are UConn, Arizona and Big Ten rivals Purdue and Maryland. All great programs, so it’ll likely be a tough recruiting process.
