Week 5 of the 2026 NFL season is upon us, and it started with an upset almost nobody saw coming. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers shocked the Dallas Cowboys in their home stadium, giving Tampa their first win of the season, and handing the Cowboys their third loss already. It’s Dallas’ worse start through five games since 2020, and it’s good to know there are defenses that may be more terrible than the Detroit Lions out there.
But now we turn the page to the rest of the Week 5 slate, and Lions fans will have
an opportunity to watch some of the early games since Detroit won’t play until 4:25 p.m. ET.
Those early games include Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers, which will air locally on FOX at 1 p.m. ET. Other interesting games to watch: Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints and an early London matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars at 9:30 a.m. ET.
The rest of the day is also filled with a few must-see matchups. Unfortunately, during Lions vs. Cardinals, the San Francisco 49ers take on the Seattle Seahawks in what should be a thrilling NFC West matchup. The night closes with an intriguing Ravens vs. Falcons game on Sunday night, but perhaps the most anticipated matchup happens on Monday night: Buffalo Bills at Los Angeles Rams.
