Maryland men’s golf team member Emil Riegger led the Terps at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate this week.
The junior tied for 20th overall in the individual standings, scoring a total of 214 (72-72-70), or two shots under par. He parred or birdied in 47 of the 54 holes in the event.
As a team, Maryland earned an overall score of 878, which was +14 in the event. Only one other member of the Terps shot for par, as sophomore Will Gregware earned an even score of 216.
Maryland will next take
the course in the Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio Sept. 15-16.
