Real Madrid is working to try and get Yan Diomandé from RB Leipzig, but Los Blancos are not getting much communication from Die Roten Bullen per transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano:
🚨🧨 BREAKING | RB Leipzig have not responded to Real Madrid’s latest offer. As a result, negotiations have largely stalled in recent 24 hours, causing some surprise in Madrid.
If nothing extraordinary happens, Leipzig’s current plan is for Yan Diomande to fly with the squad to the training camp in Austria on Saturday.
Diomande has been informed. However, he is still hoping to avoid travelling. A final decision is expected on Saturday morning.
The player’s clear intention is (should he have to travel) not to take part in full team training there. He wants the move to Real Madrid, has mentally moved on from Leipzig, and is hoping the clubs will reach an agreement soon. Deal still on. Crucial weekend ahead.

With Real Madrid having zero chance of getting Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise this summer, it is putting in a lot of effort to get Diomandé. It would be uncharacteristic of RB Leipzig to not seek to capitalize on the potential for a big sale…unless it feels like can roll the dice and gamble that the winger will be worth even more after next season.
