On Halloween, the No. 11 Wisconsin Badgers are taking on the No. 1 Nebraska Cornhuskers at the UW Field House. First serve is set for 8:00 p.m. on Big Ten Network.
It’s the matchup many have been waiting
for this season, and Wisconsin enters the game with a 15-3 record coming off back-to-back road wins over the Washington Huskies and Oregon Ducks.
The Cornhuskers are a whopping 20-0 on the season and they’ve won 33 consecutive sets, sweeping each of their last 11 matches. They have quite an impressive resume this season, beating No. 3 Pitt, No. 6 Stanford, No. 7 Kentucky, No. 22 Utah, No. 18 Creighton, No. 16 Penn State, and No. 12 Purdue.
The Badgers have faced some tough tests this year, winning and losing their fair share of ranked matches, but Friday will undoubtedly be their toughest matchup of the year.
A season ago, Wisconsin faced Nebraska three times, getting swept in all three contests, including in the NCAA Tournament.
Now, with a new-look team, the Badgers will look to get revenge at the Field House. Stay tuned as our game thread is officially open!
