Florida State, after getting a bit of momentum on the trail with three blue-chip commitments, is losing a four-star from its class.
Linebacker Gregory Batson Jr., who committed to the Seminoles last November, announced on Wednesday that he’d be reopening his recruitment.
First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with this opportunity. I also want to thank the coaches, staff, and fans for believing in me throughout my recruiting process. After careful consideration with my family, I have
decided to decommit from the Florida State University. This was not an easy decision, and I have nothing but respect and gratitude for the entire program. With that being said, my recruitment is 100% open. Thank you to everyone who continues to support me on this journey.
Batson just made his official visit to Florida State last week.
