Monday is a big day around the sports world. The NFL has a Monday Night Football doubleheader, with a few of the league’s more interesting teams suiting up for games on the final day of week six. First
up, the Buffalo Bills — the AFC’s current #1 seed — travel south to face the Atlanta Falcons.
Then it’s a battle of second-year quarterbacks as Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears face Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders. That second game is a rematch of last year’s crazy matchup that ended with a Hail Mary touchdown from Daniels to Noah Brown to beat Chicago and kick off a ten-game losing streak for the Bears.
But that’s just part of the excitement for today. Baseball playoffs are also underway, with both the AL and NL Championship Series in action this evening. Game 2 of the ALCS starts early as the Toronto Blue Jays try to even up the series against the Seattle Mariners, who took game 1 on Sunday. Then the Milwaukee Brewers, fresh off defeating the Chicago Cubs in game 5 on Saturday, host the Los Angeles Dodgers in a rematch of the 2018 NLCS.
Join us for any and all of the football and baseball action tonight!
