Magomed Ankalaev vs. Alex Pereira will square off in a Light Heavyweight contest tonight (Sat. Oct. 4, 2025) live on ESPN+ pay-per-view inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada in UFC 320.
Throughout
Pereira’s entire rise to Light Heavyweight greatness, Ankalaev lingered in the background. His ascension was delayed by that pesky draw versus Jan Blachowicz, but after three “Poatan” title defenses, the match up could wait no longer. The two finally met in March, and Ankalaev walked away strapped with gold following a largely uneventful fight.
Since then, both men have argued they have more to offer. Pereira has promised violence in this rematch, the kind of definitive win that will instantly end the rivalry. “Big Ank,” meanwhile, claims he’ll make it look easy the second time around and end Pereira’s time as a top 205-pounder.
