Barcelona saw Pedri forced off with injury during Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Slavia Prague.
The midfielder looked to have suffered a hamstring strain and was instantly replaced by Dani Olmo for the final half hour of the match.
Barcelona will be hoping the injury is not too serious but losing Pedri will be a real blow for Hansi Flick and his side.
The Spain star has been simply brilliant once again this season, but we’ll now have to wait and see the severity of the injury and how much time
he’s likely to miss.
The good news for Barcelona was that Olmo made an instant impact. The Spain star fired a brilliant shot into the top corner to make it 3-2 with virtually his first touch of the match.
Fermin Lopez had earlier scored twice for Barcelona, with Flick’s side conceding twice from corners in what will be another worry for Flick.
