DONJI VAKUF, Bosnia and Herzegovina — Former Iowa State cager Demarion Watson has signed a professional contract with KK Promo Donji Vakuf.

Watson, a 6-foot-7 forward, brings four years of collegiate experience to the professional ranks, highlighted by a three-season stint in Ames.

During his time with the Cyclones, “D-Wat” appeared in 81 total games.

His 2023-24 season saw him play in 34 games for an Iowa State team that won the 2024 Big 12 Tournament Championship, finished as the Big 12 regular-season

runner-up and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.

On Feb. 28, 2024, Watson recorded perhaps his defining performance in a game against Oklahoma, finishing with 15 points and nine rebounds in a 58-45 win.

As a professional prospect, Watson possesses multi-positional defensive capability, transition play, and perimeter shooting from NBA three-point range. He will join KK Promo as the club begins its campaign in the Max Bet Championship.
