The Michigan Wolverines lost a couple guys to injury in last week’s road loss to USC, including star running back Justice Haynes. Now, heading into a home matchup with Washington this afternoon, we officially
have the injury designation for him and some other banged up Wolverines.
Here is this week’s full injury report.
Out
- QB Davis Warren
- RB Micah Ka’apana
- TE Marlin Klein
Out for season
- WR I’Marion Stewart
- RB Donovan Johnson
- LB Jaydon Hood
- OL Andrew Babalola
- Edge Devon Baxter
- WR C.J. Charleston
Questionable
- LB Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng
- RB Justice Haynes
- OL Brady Norton
- DL Trey Pierce
Haynes left the USC game prior to halftime with an apparent midsection injury. He was deemed as “probable” to re-enter the game, but never did. Head coach Sherrone Moore said earlier this year that they are very cautious with their players when it comes to injuries, so with Haynes being considered questionable today, it wouldn’t be a shock if he doesn’t play in this one.
Pierce — who also left last week’s game with an injury — is also deemed as questionable. Should he not be healthy enough to play today, look for senior transfers Tre Williams and Damon Payne Jr., as well as Enow Etta, to get extended run.
Finally, Klein being ruled out is a bit of a shock considering he played throughout the USC game last week. Look for Hogan Hansen to step up in Klein’s absence this afternoon.
Kickoff is set for 12:10 p.m. on FOX.
