Bayern Munich goalkeeper Daniel Peretz has had a strong loan stint at Southampton, but that might not be enough to convince the Bavarians that the 25-year-old should be in the mix to compete for minutes next season.
Peretz is not sure how things will play out, but he us open to just about anything.
“I don’t know yet. Right now, I’m enjoying playing every game. Then we’ll see what the future holds. I have complete faith that God will lead me to the place that’s best for me. If that ends up being Bayern,
I’d be incredibly happy. If not, then so be it. But no matter what happens – it will be for my good,” Peretz told Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
When asked if he was still following Bayern Munich, the goalkeeper said he was.
“Of course. I’m a huge Bayern fan. I like the team; for me, they’re the best in the world. I really enjoy watching them play. Plus, I have friends there. I’m especially in contact with Manuel Neuer. He’s a great guy, very humble. From the very first second I was at Bayern, he helped me. And he’s not just any goalkeeper, he’s the best of all time. We’re in regular contact, we text each other after the games. He congratulates me on good performances,” said Peretz.
