Jürgen Klopp already appears to be cooking up his plan for another ‘Das Reboot’ for the German national team. While Julian Nagelsmann ultimately came short with his squad, Klopp is reportedly making a big change with the future of this team. This week we have already heard some rumors on who Klopp intends to call up to his squad in the coming months. For some, it might be a surprising name.
According to reports from Sport Bild, Jürgen Klopp is already planning on giving Dženan Pejčinović a call-up
in the DFB’s restarts leading up to EURO 2028. While a timeline on when that first call-up might happen is unconfirmed, it seems like only a matter of time if his performances keep up.
🇩🇪 21-year old striker Dženan Pejčinović, who has recently joined VfB Stuttgart from Wolfsburg for €25m, is on Jürgen Klopp’s list for the national team’s ‘restart’ ahead of Euro 2028. Pejčinović is expected to get a call-up in the future, Klopp has informed Stuttgart of that [@SPORTBILD]
The VfL Wolfsburg star has poised for a wonder season in the 2. Bundesliga, but will certainly still be a standout player in the Bundesliga this season for VfB Stuttgart. Based on what we know in how VfB Stuttgart could we see them lineup with both Denis Undav and Pejčinović in the starting XI?
It is certainly an interesting theory but it is doubtful that Klopp would replicate that same attack for Die Mannschaft. While Germany disappointed fans once again this past summer, there is certainly some excitement building in anticipation for Klopp’s team.
