Quick Refresher:
Mikey Wilkins is a 6’9” / 260 lb 4-star, Top 100, forward / center from Arden NC. He is a freshman with four seasons of eligibility.
He had a solid list of interested high major schools, including Clemson, Georgia, Illinois, LSU, Michigan, and Miami.
He was originally signed by Coach Keatts, but Coach Wade immediately reached out to him after being hired and convinced him that NC State was still the place to be.
- As a senior he was named North Carolina’s Mr. Basketball after leading Christ School to consecutive state championships.
- Last season he averaged 15.6 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.0 steals.
