Both Boston and Los Angeles dropped games in the WPBL doubleheader on Saturday and are looking to bounce back when they face off against each other today.
L.A. lost 8-7 in eight innings to the Heights on Saturday, while Boston dropped their contest 12-5 to the Fireballs. The Queens are in second place at 5-4, while the Hunters (3-6) are in last in the standings.
On Saturday, Ashton Lansdell hit two homers in a five-RBI performance to lead the Queens, who jumped out to a 6-0 lead after five innings, but the Heights rallied back to win in extras. In Boston’s loss, Lexi Hastings went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored, while Denver Bryant also went 2-for-3 and scored a run.
