While Bayern Munich fans are not anywhere close to being out on Ismael Saibari as a player, some are getting close to being out on him as a backup striker (and not just Didi Hamann).
Maybe Bayern Munich is at least a little worried about that seldom-used spot behind Harry Kane, too, because the Bavarians are reportedly looking at Brazilian striker Kaio Jorge from Cruzeiro:
FC Bayern are reportedly looking for a new option for the center forward position. According to information from fussball-news.de,
the Munich club are interested in Kaio Jorge from Cruzeiro. The 24-year-old Brazilian has put himself back on the radar of numerous top European clubs with strong performances in his home country.
The German record champions are also closely monitoring the striker’s development. Bayern Munich are reportedly already sending scouts to Brazil to observe Kaio Jorge during his appearances for Cruzeiro.
From Bayern Munich’s perspective, the Brazilian would be particularly interesting as an alternative and potential backup for Harry Kane. The Englishman remains the undisputed first-choice striker. However, an additional high-quality option for the number nine position could give coach Vincent Kompany more flexibility in managing player workload and rotating the squad.
