The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be playing host to the San Francisco 49ers in this week’s matchup of a pair of 4-1 teams. Both the Bucs and Niners are coming in to this game with loads of injuries and several
key names that they will have to manage the afternoon without.
Tampa Bay will be without wide receiver Chris Godwin as he is dealing with a fibula injury, Mike Evans is still nursing a bad hamstring, and running back Bucky Irving will miss this week as well. Left tackle Tristan Wirfs (knee) was limited on the injury report for most of the week but was a full participant Friday so he will suit up for Tampa Bay.
Defensively, they won’t have cornerback Zyon McCollum due to a thumb injury. McCollum was seen with a cast around his hand for that thumb so the Bucs will be treading cautiously. Defensive back Christian Izien was listed as questionable with a sore quad
San Francisco will still be without starting quarterback Brock Purdy due to a toe injury.
