Even if you don’t like Jake Paul’s involvement in the boxing scene, his fight card last night (Fri., Aug. 22, 2025) at MVP Prospects 14 from inside the Caribe Royale Orlando in Orlando Fla., produced one of the best knockouts you’ll see all year.
Paul has hosted a bunch of these events in the past, but none have showcased the type of knockout that fight fans saw play out on Friday. Some even asked if the losing fighter was still alive given the violent nature of the finish. It was a nice prelude for
fight fans before they were forced to wake up early Saturday morning for the UFC Shanghai card.
The knockout occurred during a super lightweight showdown between undefeated prospect Pedro Da Silva Conceicao and Cuban journeyman Renny Viamonte. It came to fruition in Round 2 when Conceicao launched a monstrous overhand right. The punch connected and rocked Viamonte’s head like a Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robot. Viamonte slumped to the ground and was completely out. It took him a good while to regain consciousness and get back to his feet.

Conceicao, 24, is now 5-0 in his professional career and just put his name on the map entering the final quarter of the year. This was a quick performance by Conceicao so it’s possible Paul and company give the Brazilian boxer another matchup in the coming months. Maybe even on the undercard of Paul’s upcoming superfight with Gervonta Davis.
