Bayern Munich is historically one of the biggest clubs in Germany, both culturally and financially, too. It’s no news that they spend a lot of money on players, but what about agents fees and commissions?
Based on a new financial report from the DFL, captured by @iMiaSanMia, Bayern leads the way in Bundesliga agent fees for the 2024/25 season. The data reveals how much German clubs spent on these commissions during that campaign.
Bayern spent a total of €49.8 million on agent fees and commissions.
Following the leaders, RB Leipzig recorded €39.81 million in spending, while Borussia Dortmund accounted for €32.25 million. Other big name clubs followed, with VfB Stuttgart at €32.03 million and Bayer Leverkusen at €29.44 million. Lower down the list, clubs such as SV Elversberg spent only €734,000.
These figures show a significant financial gap within the league. The high spending from Bayern Munich shows their priority of heavily investing in maintaining a top tier squad, something that often involves complex negotiations and representative interests. This creates a clear divide compared to smaller clubs that operate with significantly leaner budgets for agent fees. The kind of money that’s being spent these days, it’s no shock that Bayern is performing at the level it does.
