Clippers 6, Cubs 2
This was a nice win from the Clippers, we saw multi hit efforts from both George Valera and Blake Perkins and a homer from Dayan Frias. Kyle Manzardo, Cooper Ingle, and Alfonsin Rosario all had a hit and an RBI.
Ben Lively had another good start tonight. He tossed 4.2 innings with zero earned runs and his AAA ERA is now down to 2.00. Ryan Webb, Jack Leftwich, Steven Perez, and Connor Brodgon combined for 4.1 scoreless innings of relief.
RubberDucks 13, Squirrels 4
The RubberDucks had
an offensive explosion today. They scored 13 runs on 14 hits and 8 walks. This included multi hit games from Jaison Chourio, Bennett Thompson, Luke Hill, Jake Fox, and Alex Mooney. Jake Fox has had an incredible season and is now up to .336 with an OPS of .948. Ryan Cesarini also went 1-4 with another HR. He is now hitting .331 with an OPS of 1.097.
Braylon Doughty had a solid outing. He allowed three runs on six hits with four strikeouts in six innings pitched. Magnus Ellerts and Carter Rustad both had scoreless innings of relief.
Loons 13, Captains 7
The Captains offense was solid today scoring 7 runs on 9 hits and 8 walks. Anthony Martinez contines to turn heads this season. He went 2-4 with a HR and a walk and is now hitting .295 with a .937 OPS in High-A.
There was not a lot of positive pitching performances today. Joey Oakie got the start and it was another rough one. His High-A ERA is up to 13.50.
Howlers 3, RidgeYeks 4
Lucas Moore went 2-5 and is hitting .314 as a howler. Alejandro Garza went 1-5 with an RBI single.
Miguel Flores had a really good start. He struck out 7 while allowing just one run in 4.2 innings. His ERA is now down to 4.33 on the season.
