We are right around ninety minutes from kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, and both the Minnesota Vikings and Indianapolis Colts have released their inactive lists for this afternoon’s game. Let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out for both sides.
Indianapolis Colts
- LB C.J. Allen
- LB Bruce Boettcher
- CB Sauce Gardner
- WR Anthony Gould
- QB Riley Leonard (emergency QB)
- G Dalton Tucker
- TE Tyler Warren
No significant surprises for the Colts on their inactive list, as Gardner and Warren were both declared out on their final injury reports. Anthony Richardson will serve as the primary backup to Daniel Jones at quarterback, with Leonard as the emergency
QB. Punter Rigoberto Sanchez, who was injured in the Colts’ loss to Tennessee last week and had been listed as “questionable” for this one, is active and is apparently good to go, but his situation is one worth keeping an eye on, particularly since the Colts’ kicker, Spencer Shrader, has also had injury issues to deal with this season.
Minnesota Vikings
- QB Max Brosmer (emergency QB)
- RB Demond Claiborne
- CB Chuck Demmings
- S Jakobe Thomas
- OT Caleb Tiernan
- DL Elijah Williams
Claiborne goes to being inactive with the return of Jordan Mason, who was activated by the team yesterday. DeeJay Dallas was also elevated from the practice squad and will serve as RB3 behind Mason and Aaron Jones. Jakobe Thomas still can’t find his way onto the active list on game day, which is still not great for a third-round pick on a team that has issues at safety. Overall, this is about as healthy as the Vikings have been since Week 1, even though Donovan Jackson is out for the year.
Those are your inactives for today’s game, folks. We’ll be opening up the Game Thread for today’s game at 11:30 AM Central, thirty minutes before kickoff, and we hope to see all of you there to watch this one with us!
