Every so often, when I haven’t heard from someone or I know someone has been going through something, I will sit down and shoot them a text (I would prefer to call, but I understand the world we live in) saying “Hey, just checking in, how are things?”
Well, that’s what I am doing today with you, Tar Heel Nation. I am just shooting you a text in the form of a blog post, asking “Hey, just checking in, how are things?”
The weekend has come and gone. The Sweet Sixteen is set with very few upsets to speak
of (this is the second straight season without any mid majors making the Sweet 16, but we do have a 9 and an 11). There have been some amazing games played (looking at you, High Point/Arkansas), as well as some amazing moments (anybody else see that half court heave from Vandy?).
So, with the passage of time, where do you sit now on how everything has come to pass? Do you still want to give Hubert Davis another season, or are you firmly on the coach-must-go side? Are you still salty about the VCU loss or have you made your peace with it? Do you think Duke is still vulnerable after a near scare to Siena or do you think they righted the ship after a second half beatdown of TCU?
