Former Contender Series standout Luis Felipe Dias made a huge Octagon splash earlier this morning (Sat., May 30, 2026) at UFC Macau LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Galaxy Arena in Macau, China, stopping fellow UFC newcomer Yi Sak Lee with a blistering first-round TKO (punches).
Despite this being Dias’ first trip to the Octagon the Brazilian prospect wasted no time getting to work. It wasn’t a massive surprise since Dias is a physical freak who typically tries to overwhelm opponents from the opening
bell. That’s exactly what happened as the proven finisher was able to put Lee in trouble early on with a flash knockdown.
Later on into the first round, Dias found a home for a brutal right hand that folded Lee once more along the cage. This time around, Dias was able to quickly rush in and unload heavy ground-and-pound to eventually force the referee’s hand. It was a tremendous way to cap off a “Prelims” undercard that featured five total finishes across seven fights.
Check out the video highlights below:
Dias, 31, has now finished four-straight fights dating back to 2023. There were some concerns entering Saturday’s card that Dias wouldn’t be able to last into the later rounds, but it never really mattered. The Brazilian bruiser was simply too good in the early going and has already put his name on a list of rising fighters to watch at 185 pounds.
