You hear that sound? It’s the sound of the Love Train gaining steam. The next stop for that train is Station No. 4 in Nashville, Tennessee. Mel Kiper has put out a new 2026 NFL mock draft this morning, and he has joined the chorus of people predicting that the Tennessee Titans will take Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love with the fourth pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
People will say that you cannot take a running back that high in the draft. I would agree with those people in most circumstances,
but Love is more than just a running back. He is a playmaker, and even with all of the needs that the Titans have, the thing they need the most is playmakers. I’m on board. You should jump on board as well.
Here is what Kiper had to say about Love:
Here is where things get interesting. We haven’t seen a running back go in the top four since Saquon Barkley (No. 2 in 2018), and the Titans certainly have a long list of issues — even after aggressively spending in free agency last week. But Tennessee is committed to boosting the offense around second-year quarterback Cam Ward, and Love would take the run game to another level while also serving as a dynamic pass catcher. His game features 4.36 speed, excellent vision, run-you-over power and soft hands.
Love
would be an immediate upgrade over Tony Pollard for new offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.
If things played out like this at the top of the draft, are you a fan of the Titans taking Love?
