The New York Giants will practice Thursday afternoon at Quest Diagnostics Training Center, their 14th practice of training camp. It will be the final workout prior to Saturday’s preseason opener at MetLife Stadium against the Minnesota Vikings.
Head coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday that he can see players beginning to think about having a game to play this weekend.
“Guys can feel it,” Harbaugh said. “It’s always the last couple days here. You get that grind 10, 12 days in and now you’ve got the three,
four days, we’re still trying to get better. We’re still trying to focus on technique. We’re making the most of these days and I’m preaching that, but you can see their attention is starting to go toward the game.”
A few things to note regarding Thursday’s practice:
- Is it possible Terrion Arnold could be part of it? Harbaugh certainly does not seem to be against the idea of signing Arnold, despite his serious legal situation.
- Will any of the Giants’ long list of injured players get back on the field?
- This practice will not be in pads. How hard will they go? Harbaugh admitted backing down a bit in terms of the intensity of practice on Wednesday.
Please come back after practice for all of the news, highlights, and analysis.
