After a narrow 92-88 win to open their 2026 Summer League, the Washington Wizards returned on Sunday to face Darius Acuff and the Sacramento Kings.
Behind 32 points from Will Riley, the Wizards won 104-85 to remain undefeated in Las Vegas.
Tre Johnson, who scored 26 points in Thursday’s victory, didn’t play on Sunday. Neither did Jamir Watkins, who The Athletic reported tweaked his left knee against Utah.
Dybantsa opened the game with a pull-up 3-pointer — his first made triple of Summer League after
missing all five attempts on Thursday. He followed with a mid-range jumper before swatting Acuff’s 3-point attempt and scoring in transition to give him seven quick points.
John Camden and RJ Nembhard made their 2026 Summer League debuts in a quarter that Washington lost 24-18. The second quarter was a different story.
The Wizards embarked on a 30-9 run behind Dybantsa’s relentless rim pressure and Reece Beekman’s knockdown shooting. Beeman drilled all three of his outside jumpers to end the half with nine points, while Dybantsa used his size and strength to get to the rim at will.
Washington’s No. 1 pick finished the half with 17 points and five rebounds on 4-8 FG. He also tallied a block, a steal and several deflections behind some intense on-ball defense.
The Wizards entered halftime leading 54-41. Riley tallied seven points and a pair of assists in the opening half of his second straight start at point guard.
Sacramento pushed back to begin the third quarter before Riley drilled three triples, including one through contact, to keep Washington ahead.
Felix Okpara was drafted primarily for his defensive impact, which was felt on Sunday. The No. 46 pick tallied three blocks, including a chasedown swat, as he protected the rim.
Dybantsa cooled off in the second half. He missed all five of his shot attempts and tallied a few turnovers as Washington’s lead slowly slipped.
But Riley returned with a quick, acrobatic and-1 floater to give him a game-high 22 points. And he wasn’t done there.
Washington’s second-year wing drilled a pair of deep triples, his fifth and sixth 3-point makes of the night, and drilled a free throw to give him an efficient 32 points.
The Wizards held on for a 104-85 win to improve to 2-0 in Vegas.
