USC men’s basketball got some great news on Wednesday when Darius and Adonis Ratliff, 4-star prospects at the center and power forward positions, respectively, announced their commitments:
Trojans head coach Eric Musselman and staff posted their reaction on Twitter, celebrating
when the news dropped:
Darius Ratliff, is the third highest-ranked center and 40th highest-ranked prospect overall in the Rivals Industry Ranking while Adonis Ratliff is the 10th highest-ranked power forward and 59th highest-ranked prospect overall. Both attend Archbishop Stepinac High School in White Plains, New York. The difference in position should allow the twins, who are both 7’ tall, to share the court.
They are the sons of Theo Ratliff, who played for multiple NBA franchises at center and power forward after a collegiate career at Wyoming.
The twins’ commitment is a substantial recruiting win for Musselman’s rebuilding project in Los Angeles and a boon to the overall talent around the Big Ten.
