Musa Sagnia is a 6’10” 235 lb forward / center (wingspan 6’11.5”) from Fajara, The Gambia. He is classified as a freshman, however his eligibility is yet to be published, but because he is 22 and has played pro ball in Europe, he is expected to have a shortened window.
He has played 4 seasons, mostly for BAXI Maresa based in Manresa, Spain. BAXI Maresa is part of the Liga ACB, the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system and considered to be one of the toughest leagues in the world.
He was elected to the Spanish ACB Best Young Team in 2024.
