The Indianapolis Colts head to US Bank Stadium to face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. The Vikings are looking healthy coming off a bye and will be excited to continue their undefeated start. The Colts are coming in a little more beat up and they’re having a rough start to the season.
Series Record: 9-18-1
Home Record: 9-6-1
Streak: W2
Largest Win: Vikings 52 – Baltimore Colts 14, September 28, 1969
Largest Defeat: Colts 34 – Vikings 6, December 18, 2016 (Adrian Peterson’s last game playing for the Vikings)
- We always take a moment to enjoy the largest comeback in NFL History that occurred on December 17, 2022. The Vikings came back from a 33-0 deficit against the Matt Ryan led Colts.
- The Vikings’ 1st ever playoff game came against the Baltimore Colts Decmeber 22, 1968, a 24-14 Colts win.
- The following year Joe Kapp went off for a NFL tying record 7 TDs in a 52-14 Vikings victory.
- Andrew Luck’s 1st win was against the Minnesota Vikings in 2012.
- Daniel Jones has a 0.67 TD to INT ratio for the season.
- Jonathan Taylor is averaging a career low 4.0 YPC and has yet to record a 100 yard game this season.
This is a game the Minnesota Vikings should win. The Colts are giving up a staggering 27.3 points per game vs the Vikings stingy 12.8. Daniel Jones has struggled to find the rythym he had last season. The Colts defense is one of the worst in the league with inexperience throughout the lineup. I can’t see the trends changing, but you never know with the NFL.
