New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) handed out 28 medical suspensions following UFC 322 this past weekend (Sat., Nov. 15, 2025) inside Madison Square Garden in New York City. Among those sidelined for multiple months were former Welterweight champion Leon Edwards, No. 2-ranked Sean Brady, and divisional staple Beneil Dariush.
Edwards (22-6-1) was knocked out for the first time in his career by Carlos Prates this past weekend (watch highlights). “Rocky” has now dropped three straight fights,
getting finished in his last two outings.
Brady (18-2) was taken to the hospital on Saturday for a precautionary CT scan of his head and face following his first round stoppage loss to surging Welterweight contender, Michael Morales, in the “Featured” fight of the night (watch highlights). The defeat snapped Brady’s three-fight win streak.
Dariush (23-7-1) got obliterated in 16 seconds by Benoit Saint Denis in the PPV opener (watch highlights), which was his third knockout loss in his last four fights.

Chepe Mariscal: Suspended for 30 days with primary care provider clearance required.
Fatima Kline: Suspended for seven days.
Angela Hill: Suspended for 30 days with primary care provider clearance required.

Baisangur Susurkaev: Suspended for 30 days with primary care provider clearance required.
Matheus Camilo: Suspended for seven days.

Just a quick reminder: Fighters often return to action much quicker once doctors give them the green light. The lengthy suspensions are just a precaution in most cases. In addition, not all injuries are recorded during the post-fight examination and often times surface in follow-up tests.
